This includes port management processes as well as academic and social skills. The international character of our bachelor’s course is enhanced through the teaching in English.

Contents in bachelor port management & maritime logistics
Course modules and your bachelor’s thesis are evaluated according to international standards. A total of 180 credits (ECTS) are awarded. The course, which is taught in English, includes 32 modules over eight semesters with a project workshop within semester four and semesters six to seven. Throughout, you will examine scenarios encountered in your professional environment, identify problems in the operational environment and develop scientifically based solutions. All your study information is available online and offline on the innovative WINGS App. In addition to scores, news, lectures and seminar dates, all of the study materials, live tutorials and interactive video lectures are available on the app. Video tutorials can be downloaded to your tablet and viewed offline at any time. Examination Locations of B.Sc. port management
Our Bachelor‘s degree programme Maritime Logistics & Port Management is international, in English and available worldwide. The exams can be taken worldwide at partner universities, embassies, public institutions or Goethe Institutes for example in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Alternatively and depending on the respective module, examinations can be submitted as presentation, as group and project work on real case studies conducted via online meetings.

Admission to the online Maritime Logistics and Port Management bachelor’s degree course requires the following:

Expenses / Financing
A semester fee of €1,370 (approx. 104.980 INR) covers all your study services.. As well as individual study support, this includes access to the Moodle online study platform, attendance at online tutorials, study materials (mock exams) and examinations set at one of our worldwide examination locations. Tuition fees can be paid by instalments on request.
Financing through your Employer
Many companies support the ongoing training of their employees through tax exemption or financial support. Your particular agreement may allow you to integrate your qualification into your own personal development plan.
Scholarship for Port Management and Business
What is it?
Up to four tuition waivers for the Online Bachelor’s Programme “Maritime Logistics & Port Management”, each worth 50% of the tuition fees.
Who is it for?
Applicants with a demonstrated interest in the maritime business and logistics, either academically or professionally, who wish to pursue a degree in maritime logistics and port management.
How to apply?

When can I expect to receive the admission decision?

Is work experience required for admission?
No, work experience is not required. However, relevant work experience (internships, project management, regular job positions, etc.) will be an asset to your application.
How long should my letter of motivation be?
Your letter of motivation should not exceed two pages. You should briefly sketch your motivation and personal suitability.
Which application documents need to be translated into English?
All documents must be submitted in English. Transcripts, degree certificates and/or reference letters originally issued in a language other than English, must be translated by a sworn (court-registered) translator.
Do I have to prove my financial need?
No. Financial need will be determined by analysing the latest Human Development Index (HDI).
Programme Guidelines & Priorities
For the summer semester 2018, WINGS (Wismar International Graduation Services) offers four scholarships in partnership with bremenports GmbH & Co. KG.
Applicants must apply and be enrolled in the Online Bachelor’s Programme “Maritime Logistics & Port Management”.
Scholarships are offered based on financial need as well as personal suitability, academic excellence and motivation.
Applicants must prove their English knowledge. Applicants whose native language is not English have to demonstrate, through appropriate documentation, e.g. TOEFL test with minimum certification of Level B2.
Financial need will be determined by the origin and current place of residence of the applicant. Therefore no further proof by the applicant is required.
